Welcome to Sloan Longhorns Located in Southeast Alabama on the Alabama/Florida line, we are a small operation that began in 2005 when we bought our first Longhorn...a bull calf that we thought was "all that" and then some. Then, as we began to learn more and more about the industry and the different quality of cattle available, we realized we had purchased an "all that and then some" ROPER!! But, that got us started and like everyone else, we have been bitten by the Longhorn bug!!!!

Being a small breeder, at this time, we have no need for a full time herd sire. However, we have a great group of people here in the Southeast, who have been very helpful in allowing us to use what we believe to be some excellent sires in the industry. To name a few, Wiregrass Phenomenon, Peacemaker 44, Horseshoe J Definitive, Wind Master Chex and Spitfire (a Foxfire son) and for this opportunity, Mr. Joe Graddy, Terry King, Jimmy Jones, and Carla Mauldin, we say THANK YOU!!!!!
